As 2013 came to a close, I began to think of what my resolution would be for the upcoming year. Although I have never been one for New Year’s resolutions, I do believe it is important to set goals to continue to grow. That being said, I thought that 2014 sounded like a great year to tap back into my creative side. See, I have always considered myself to be a creative person but it turns out that as you grow up it is easy to lose that side of yourself. The need for creativity combined with my interest in the idea of blogging have lead me here, to maydegood.com.
Although it is easy to get caught up in everyday routine, there are still plenty of opportunities to make ordinary into extraordinary: to take the simple things and make them spectacular with a little creative thinking. The purpose of this blog is not only to challenge my own imagination, but also to inspire others to make beautiful things out of the everyday good, bad and ugly “lemons” life throws at us. My goal is to take everyday food, projects, art, ideas and even moments and make them into something wonderful.
When life hands you lemons, make something good.
